Today marks the Flag Off Session for Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan (PIS) students selected to join the LinguaCulture Exchange – An English & Cultural Immersion and Knowledge Sharing Program at Guizhou Media Vocational College, China from 18 to 22 August 2025. This program provides students the opportunity to enhance their English proficiency, develop the ability to use basic Chinese expressions in daily communication, strengthen cross-cultural understanding between Malaysia and China, showcase Malaysia’s TVET education internationally, and cultivate lasting intercultural partnership.
Representing PIS are Muhammad Azhari Wong bin Jefri Wong (JKE), Nagadiban a/l Sivabalan (JRKV), Nuha Asyura binti Mohd Afendi (JPH), and Divyah Sri a/p Segaran (JKE), accompanied by lecturer Pn. Siti Noraini Hamzah from the Department of General Studies.
Among the key activities lined up are Guizhou Treasures Forward Live-Streaming Experience Class, interactive workshops such as Batik Craft and Chinese Classics Recitation, basic Chinese language learning sessions, Cultural Night and signing of the Letter of Intent (LOI) between institutions.
