Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, led by the Deputy Director of Governance and Strategic, Hj Hamzah bin Zakaria, warmly welcomed a courtesy visit from Eduquest International Institute Singapore. The delegation included Mr Idris Malim, Chief Executive Officer; Mr Mohamad Amir Fitri Latif, Assistant Manager for Business Development; Miss Lakshmy Lyer, Manager for Academic and Curriculum Management; and Mr Larry Huynh Van Danh, Assistant Manager for Business Development.
The visit provided an engaging platform for both institutions to explore potential avenues of collaboration, including international partnerships, opportunities for student internships and industry attachments, and initiatives to strengthen industry-based skills training and talent development. Eduquest also shared its ongoing efforts under the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ), while discussions highlighted the potential to further support PIS’s programmes by offering the Malaysian workforce greater access to short courses and industry-recognised certifications.
