On 18–19 July 2026, 30 students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, participated in the Graduate Employability Programme – STRIVE Talent Empowerment Programme (STEP) 2026: Industrial Automation Technology.
The programme provided students with valuable exposure to the latest developments in industrial automation, equipping them with practical knowledge and industry-relevant skills to meet the demands of the evolving manufacturing sector. Through hands-on learning and engagement with industry experts, participants gained insights into current technologies and future career opportunities in automation.
