February 12, 2025, a significant ceremony took place at Racks Central Singapore to mark the signing of a Letter of Intent to Cooperate between Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan and Racks Central Pte Ltd. This event was witnessed by distinguished guests including Vinothan Tulisi Nathzan, Director of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Singapore, Anson Lin, Investment Officer MIDA Singapore, and Dr. Riam Chau Mai, <\/a>Director of the Industry and Community Collaboration Division, Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration aims to strengthen the ties between academia and industry, bringing mutual benefits to both institutions. This strategic partnership is expected to promote innovation, enhance research capabilities for students and academic staff at Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bobby Wee, CEO of Racks Central, emphasised the role of such collaborations in nurturing a skilled workforce, which are crucial for maintaining the competitive edge of both Malaysia and Singapore in the global market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Riam Chau Mai, Director of the Industry and Community Collaboration Division, expressed her excitement about the possibilities this collaboration holds for Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan.
